So when we don't use large electrical appliances, a 500W inverter can fully meet our outdoor camping needs.

 

 

Disadvantages of choosing a high-power inverter

But if we want to use high-power inductive load appliances such as kettles or induction cookers when camping, then a 500-watt inverter is not enough, because an inductive load that requires 2000 watts of power like an induction cooker requires at least a pure sine wave of more than 4000 watts. wave inverter to drive it.

 

It is obviously not in line with our original intention to choose such a high-power inverter just to use the induction cooker. If you need to cook while camping, it is better to carry a portable gas appliance than a high-power inverter and a large-capacity battery.
