how single phase inverter works?

Inverter is one of the common devices in the circuit. Nowadays, there are flooded with different kinds of inverters which own different purposes. 1.Working principle of single phase inverter

The circuit that can convert direct current into alternate current is called inverter circuit, which is also called inverter. Based on the phase number of the output AC voltage of the inverter circuit, it can be divided into single phase inverter, three phase inverter and multi phase inverter.

The working circuit of single phase inverter is composed of four bridge arms, and the thyristor of each bridge arm is connected with a reactor in series. The reactor is used to limit the mutual inductance between the bridge arms when the thyristor is opened. The four bridge arms are connected in turn at the intermediate frequency of 1000-2500 Hz, and then the intermediate frequency AC power is obtained on the load.

 

 

2.Kinds of single phase inverter

Single phase inverter can be divided into full-bridge inverter and half-bridge inverter. Full-bridge inverter circuit is mainly used to convert DC into AC. This can be achieved by opening and closing the switches in the correct order. This inverter includes four different operating states.

The half-bridge inverter circuit is the basic component of the full-bridge inverter. The inverter includes two switches, each of which includes a capacitor with output voltage. In addition, these switches complement each other, because if the first switch is open, the remaining switches will be closed.
The half-bridge inverter has certain anti-unbalance ability and is not strict with circuit symmetry; The applicable power range is large, ranging from tens of watts to kilowatts; The voltage withstand requirement of switch tube is low; The circuit cost is lower than the full-bridge circuit.

The utilization rate of power supply is relatively low, so half-bridge inverter is not suitable for low working voltage. In addition, there is no common ground for the connection of two switching devices in the half-bridge inverter, which is more troublesome to connect with the driving signal. The half-bridge inverter will have a semi-conducting area and large loss.
